Take Me Back to San Francisco

Going to the US was always become my biggest dream of all time. so when i got the chance to finally go to the US, my heart stopped. when i was a kid, i knew the ticket to US was so expensive and theres no way I could afford it. but probably 15 years later it happened. all i did was never give up on that dream and keep working hard. so fast forward to 2019, i finally landed in San Francisco, California, United State of America.

here are my photos trip and some words to describe the place

DAY 1

i happened to be eid mobarok, which every moslem celebrate after one month of fasting, so my consulate general inviting me to his house to celebrate with a lot indonesia moslem in the bay area. that was kinda cool meeting others and sharing stories.

I stayed at Aida Hotel, downtown SF, it's a small ugly hotel, but quite cheap, and easy access to transportation and restaurant. we can walk to the some of famous place in SF by walking like San Francisco Town Hall, and all the Alomo Square where the famous painted ladies is.

Castro, San Francisco

we strolled around the city majorly by bus, there's a clipper card where you can use it for buses or trains. quite easy and cheap, you dont need taxi thou, as most place did not provide car park.

so back to the tour, we visited castro neighborhood that are famous for rainbow crosswalk and where Harvey Milk Plaza is a transit plaza at the Castro Muni Metro subway station commemorating Harvey Milk, in San Francisco. San Francisco is one of the largest and most prominent LGBT communities in the world, and is one of the most important in the history of LGBT rights and activism alongside New York.

the best part about the city is that there bike path almost in every route. people go to work by bike which was awesome. so i rode from my hotel to ferry terminal building and took some pictures at the Oakland bridge.

another few place that i visited

chinatown, this is the biggest chinatown in northern america, you can buy souvenirs here, really cheap

fisherman wharf, it is by the PIER 39 where a lot of attraction and tourist spot held
