every weekend, i have a full day off training so i can visit some of the cool place in Bali. Then I googled some hidden beach in Bali, i'm interested in one of it; Bias Tugel Beach (white sand beach). it's located next to Padang Bai beach. when you arrived at the Padang Bai Harbour, turn right, then about 200m straight you'll reach your destination. park your car somewhere, then dont expect it's gonna be a nice walk to the beach. when you see white sand beach sign, go down the road. it's about 10 minutes walk. the road seems unconvincing, but once you see the coconut tree and hear the sound of the wave, you are there.
because of the beach is at the east side of Bali, it doesnt get much exposed of direct sunlight. i was there with a friend; Laila, and we arrived at about 1 pm, and the sun was nice. the wind blew us out. pretty much a nice weather for us to chill at the beach. the most important thing is, the wave was very friendly to those who are affraid of the ocean. big wave only come if the Padang Bai Ferry approach to the beach. i can spend all day here and to nothing, coz it's really beautiful beach in here.
dont forget to rent body board and fins, to play on the beach, and watch out for the rock under the wave. other than that, just enjoy your day here.
