Mengwi Bowl

when i trained in Mengwi, Bali, which the place was quite distant from the city, sometimes i need to make myself a good breakfast to full fill the nutrition needs after morning session. because to be honest, every time we had breakfast, the menu is always the same; either pancake or fried egg. you cant feed yourself such a bad food after a hard training. it's called suicide. and it's kinda pathetic to remember, although we're in the national team, but the food wasn't very nutritious for us.

i came up with the idea of fast and tasty breakfast even though i didn't know how many calories in this bowl, but i think it's enough for me. i think this bowl contained enough protein from the almond, carbs from the yogurt, and low fat of course. (i'm still learning tho') but i bet this food is much better than pancakes and fried egg.

it's very easy, you just pour all the ingredients, as many as you want it, and dont forget it has to be colorful!

here are some products that i use to make the Mengwi Bowl:

1. Plain yogurt (it's better plain than tasty one, cuz it's less sugar and more natural)

2. Bali crunch granola creation (any granola will do just fine)

3. Gourmet muesli chocolate crunch (because i like chocolate)

4. POD dark chocolate ( i've read an article that said, it's better you snacking dark chocolate than a granola bar)

5. honey (if you like something sweet added to the bowl)

6. fruity pebbles cereal.

7. cheddar cheese

8. almond and cashew

9. kiwi and banana (any fruit will do)

all those ingredients are optional, i mean you can just put anything into it. it's up to you and your creation.

i need to remind you that i think there a side effect after eating this for one week straight, that i've got some acne appear on my face. i think it's because of the nuts. perhaps I've been eating too much almonds and cashews. other than that you dont need to worry.
