It all comes back at 2013, when we found a hidden coffee shop in a small alleyway in Seminyak. When we entered the place, we knew that we would come back again. We realized that was something we should do more often; having morning coffee breakfast together. It was memorable.
Ever since, visiting a coffee shop became our thing. Our early morning routine be like after waking up I usually go straight to swimming pool to have swim practice, and he will drive the kids to school. Then after we finish our morning routine, we have breakfast together. We always pick a nice cozy place to have breakfast, for us to discuss what's happening today or planning what we're going to do next, because after breakfast we go separate ways; i'm going home and he'll go to work. And then there's no time again to have a long convo but in breakfast time.
So We have visited some of the cool places to have a morning coffee breakfast. In every city, we have our favorite place. Started in Bali, Bandung, and Jakarta. Every place has their own story, a different coffee taste, and of course their different specialty meals.
Bali
Revolver Espresso always become our favorite of all time. They have the best coffee in Bali. I always ordered ice latter served in a cup size. So you can imagine a thick coffee stirred with milk, it was juicy, unique, and characteristics. When you entered the place, you will wow yourself. It's old rustic cozy place, perfect for hanging out with everyone of any age. The waiter also were really nice to us, although we're locals. I even remember the first waiter who served us there; the beard man. That's what makes it very memorable to us.
Bandung
Two Hands Full, the first time i got here was with my national swimming squad. When i saw the place, i knew i had to bring my boyfriend next time, because he would love the place. And he did. My boyfriend said, this place is best for their big brekky (bacon, sausages, egg, breads, spinach). It has a big portion, very delicious (compared to other coffee shop) and also fair price. And free tap water (Of course). The ice latte was nice tho'. The place also has a dark nice ambiance. You would feel calm in here. But the place sign is really small, sometimes it is really hard to find this place.
Jakarta
Six Ounces Coffee (Kelapa Gading) and Lucky Cat Coffee (Plaza Festival Kuningan) these places are our favorite coffee shops in Jakarta now. Both got the same quality of coffee, a very modern wooden place, nice ambiance for hangout, very instagrammable, polite waiters and cashier, same price, and also newly open. Six Ounces opens from Tuesday to Sunday at 8.30 am to 9 pm, Monday off, while Lucky Cat Coffee opens 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so this is the best place for the night warriors to stay awake at night to finis our school or work assignments.
